What Clients Are Saying . . . .

“Much to the delight of the Coors family, this massive undertaking was completed on-time and on-budget and with less than a half-dozen change orders. And, for that, we thank David Wells.

David ably represented the family’s interest in this project from start to finish. He embraced the family’s vision for the building and used his extensive construction experience to help the Foundation navigate the inevitable, and often costly, pitfalls associated with a project of this size.

We estimate the Foundation saved at least $1 million in construction-related expenses over the last year, owing mostly to David’s knack for identifying cost-savings opportunities without sacrificing quality.

– John Jackson, Executive Director, Adolph Coors Foundation (read the full letter)

“The construction projects were the first construction Trimble had embarked on.

David brought a unique skill set to the Trimble team, which had heavy weight experience with tenant improvements verses construction. His early and indispensable involvement, guidance, direction and attention to detail allowed Trimble to liaise with City authorities, architect, and general contractor in a direct and effective manner which in turn reduced costs and time.

The challenge to this project was incorporating Trimble technologies. Trimble used this project as an opportunity to show case its broad range of Engineering and Construction (E&C) solutions from survey, site-prep, excavation to building information modeling (BIM) and construction layout.

This in itself could have been a massive learning curve and time delay however David’s awareness and constant attention and communication with all involved made this show case extremely successful.

– Angela Williams, Director, Real Estate & Facilities, Trimble Navigation Ltd.

“Wells Springs’ advice and guidance helped us throughout the construction process, from front end interview and selection of general contractors, through to final punchlist and project completion.

Their services and assistance were a significant asset to our project. I enjoyed working with them each step of the way.”

– Dan McCoy, Owner & Developer, Observatory Place Residences 9/2010.

“HOK worked with Wells Springs Inc. on the new corporate campus for Progressive Insurance Company in Cleveland, Ohio.

We worked very close with WS Inc., David Wells specifically, during the interview process and selection of a contractor/construction manager for the project. From the initial RFP to the final selection WS Inc. was very professional, methodical and thorough in their approach to the entire selection process. WS Inc. had a very good working relationship with the client and the design team during this process.

We value the relationship we built with WS Inc. and would welcome an opportunity to work with them on future projects.”

R. Joe Robertson, AIA, Vice President | Sr. Project Manager, HOK

“David’s background, which includes both heavy construction and high profile private development gives him a perspective that it is unique in this marketplace. This experience has provided him with a thorough understanding of what is required to organize and execute all the aspects of complex projects of all scales.

David realizes that serving his clients’ interests means not only overseeing the details of entitlements, schedules and budgets but also providing diligent oversight of the design and construction teams to produce profitable and successful projects.”

– Phil McCurdy, AIA, Gensler Vice President (retired)

“David Wells is a conscientious and motivated project manager. He spends the time necessary to get the project on the right path and quickly addresses problems when they arise. I would recommend him to anyone needing any level of construction project management from small tenant finish work to large, new building construction.”

– Tobin Follenweider, Chief Financial Officer, Colorado State Board of Land Commissioners

“I’ve known David for over 12 years, both personally and professionally. I can say without hesitation that David would be the first person that I would recommend if I was asked for a referral for a construction project manager.

I’ve had the opportunity to observe David’s work and he is consistently focused on those things that are most important when overseeing a construction project: that is, the quality of the construction, together with delivery of the project on time and on (or under) budget.

Most importantly, he is of the highest moral character and a man of his word.”

– Steve Cohen, Real Estate Partner at the Jacobs Chase Law Firm

“We, (Boulder County Building Services) really appreciate all of your help with this. Especially figuring out all of the financial factors in the general contractor RFP. I felt that you were the perfect facilitator in our interviews and you really helped set the tone for the interviews with the questions you asked and how you asked them. I look forward to working with you again”.

– James Butler, Project Manager, Boulder County Building Services.

“David came highly recommended us by several community business leaders as a high integrity, knowledgeable project manager who could guide our organization through a complex construction project.

David was all they said he would be. His  expert advice was absolutely invaluable and we had a trusted partner working on our behalf.”

– Robin Wise, President/CEO, Junior Achievement–Rocky Mountain, Inc.

“From the beginning David understood our needs and became a trusted part of our team. His expertise made us feel that we knew the right questions to ask to navigate our way through the construction process.”

– Tamra Ryan, Women’s Bean Project – CEO
